Remove make-up and cleanse (without unbalancing)
The products you use to clean your skin and the frequency of cleansing determine the quality of the epidermis. Not frequent enough cleaning with not deep enough treatment risks clogging the pores while too frequent cleaning with an aggressive product will damage the hydrolipidic film.
Which products to choose?
Good cleaning begins with the choice of your products. A good product will remove impurities effectively and gently (the key to good cleaning!). To do this, we absolutely avoid conventional cleansers which strip the skin, damage the hydrolipidic film (and sensitize the skin) and contain ingredients that are questionable for health and the environment.
An organic and ultra soft micellar water
A makeup remover essentially composed of an aqueous base and micelles, which are small particles which have the particularity of being both lipophilic (attracting oil) and hydrophilic (attracting water). Without rinsing, micellar water is applied with a cotton pad for quick and easy cleaning. But be careful to choose your micellar water carefully because most conventional micellar waters are extremely aggressive for the skin, and strip the hydrolipidic barrier, which will irritate, weaken and dry it out!
Opt for an ORGANIC micellar water with an ultra-gentle formulation that respects the hydrolipidic film like our Organic Gentle Micellar Water . Ideal for all skin types but particularly suitable for sensitive and reactive skin.
Advice
- We recommend using micellar water only in the morning and/or as an extra in the evening, when you have little time or are on the go. Otherwise, we always recommend opting for double makeup removal with cleansing oil and cleansing gel in the evening.
- On the other hand, if you have very sensitive skin that can no longer tolerate tap water, we recommend using only our micellar water which is specially formulated to reduce inflammation and soothe the skin.
- For children and adolescents, we recommend having them only use micellar water morning and evening at first (unless you can get them to do the double cleansing in the evening... and in this case, well done! ), because regularity is essential, and we know how much our teenagers like routines to be simple and quick!
A non-occlusive cleansing oil
The first step in double cleansing, and the most effective (and non-irritating) option for removing lipophilic molecules like makeup, spf and sebum. The cleansing oil is used in the evening, always followed by a hydrophilic cleanser to remove the rest of the impurities.
Opt for an ultra-gentle makeup remover oil, respectful of the hydrolipidic film, without essential oils, without endocrine disruptors and non-occlusive, like our Organic Balancing Makeup Remover Oil rich in honey and vegetable oils. For all skin types, but particularly suitable for the most sensitive skin.
Why will you love it? It rinses VERY easily (it turns into milk on contact with water), leaves no greasy finish and does not sting the eyes at all (not to mention its absolutely divine honey scent!).
An ultra gentle and clean cleanser
The second step of double cleansing, or the single step of morning cleansing, eliminates the rest of the impurities (which do not go away with the oil) such as sweat and dust. The most important thing when choosing your cleanser is to avoid ingredients that can cause skin irritation, redness, itching or even acne: strong detergents (like sulfates), alcohol and preservatives. synthetic (such as paraben and phenoxyethanol).
Instead, turn to ultra-gentle cleansers that use ingredients such as honey like in our Organic Purifying Cleansing Jelly . Beyond its ultra gentle and ultra clean formulation, our cleansing jelly contains fruit acids (at a dosage of 2.5%, which allows daily use) which will eliminate impurities in depth while providing gentle exfoliation ( to eliminate dead cells and stimulate cell renewal).
