Main Active Ingredients

Honey: Moisturizing, nourishing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

AHAs solution (2.5%): Acid complex providing 5 different fruit acids (AHA): lactic acid (from blueberries), glycolic acid (from sugar cane), citric acid (from orange and lemon) and malic acids and tartaric (from sugar maple).
These fruit acids are known to eliminate excess sebum and dead cells, reduce skin spots while stimulating cell renewal and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. These fruit acids make the skin soft and luminous. The 2.5% dosage allows daily use.

How to do a double cleanse with the Purifying Cleansing Gel?

Double cleansing is the most effective technique for perfectly cleansing and removing makeup from the skin, while taking care of the hydrolipidic film.

This approach is divided into two distinct stages:

The first step is to use a cleansing oil, also called lipid phase. This initial step makes it possible to eliminate all "lipophilic" type impurities such as makeup (even waterproof), sunscreen and excess sebum.

The second phase involves using a cleansing gel in the aqueous phase. Following the use of the cleansing oil, this step aims to remove residues such as sweat and impurities that may remain after the initial cleansing.

Why use the Purifying Cleansing Gel rather than another cleanser?

How you cleanse your skin is essential. When choosing a cleanser, it's important to avoid ingredients that may cause skin irritation, redness, itching, or even acne: this includes harsh detergents such as sulfates, alcohol, as well as synthetic preservatives like paraben and phenoxyethanol. Opt for an ultra-gentle, soap and sulfate free, cleanser, which gently cleanses without drying out the skin, like our Purifying Cleansing Gel.

In addition to its ultra-clean composition, the added benefit of our Organic Purifying Cleansing Gel is it contains AHA fruit acids at a concentration of 2.5%. This 2.5% concentration allows for daily use, gently providing the benefits of AHAs (even for ultra-sensitive skin!).

Does the Purifying Cleansing Gel remove makeup?

Our Purifying Cleansing Gel is effective in removing sweat and impurities, as well as some makeup. However, it is not as effective as our Balancing Cleansing Oil.This is why we recommend carrying out a double cleansing every evening to ensure complete and effective cleansing of your skin.

Why does the Purifying Cleansing Gel produce little foam?

Our Purifying Cleansing Gel foams little because it does not contain aggressive foaming agents such as sodium laureth sulfate. These foaming agents can be irritating to the skin and can also strip the skin's natural oils, which can lead to dryness and irritation. Instead, our Purifying Cleansing Gel uses non-foaming ingredients to gently cleanse the skin while preserving its natural balance.
